JAs Orientation for 24th APCC 2012

Fellow BC Malaysia members,

On the last 21st June 2012, JAs orientation has been conducted at the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), Putrajaya.

The purpose of this event was to introduce the delegation team for this coming 24th APCC in Fukuoka on July.

The attendees were 6 JAs together with their parent, PA (Emily), Chaperon (Mr. Azmi), officers of MOE and 5 BC Malaysia members.

The input of this event including experience sharing from BC Malaysia members with the current JAs, and also advises on pre-departure preparation on passport, visa and documentation. BC Malaysia members also have pointed out regarding preparation for 25th APCC Anniversary in July 2013.

**Please be noted that JAs training will be held at Empress Hotel, Salak Tinggi; Sepang from 11th-13th July 2012.
**The delegation will depart to Japan on 13th July 2012 by Silk Air with transit in Singapore Changi International Airport.
**For those who are coming for the send-off, please be at KLIA around 0800PM

New Coordinators: Nothern & Southern Region 2012

New BC Malaysia Coordinators

Please be guided that our club has two members that has newly being appointed as:

 

1. Northern Coordinator : Mr. Vikneswaran Sabramani; from Penang (JA 1993)

2. Southern Coordinator : Mrs. Sunita Rega; from Johor Bharu  (JA 1989)

 

-The appointed coordinators will assist the central management in running BCM activities.

-They will conduct a regional meeting/ reunion to reconnects members within their responsible areas.

 

I would like to thank both of them for their voluntary effort.

Hopefully all members will supports them accordingly.

BC Malaysia Launched Annual Green Planet Campaign 2012 (Reuse and Recycle)

Hello everyone!

Last Saturday dated 09June2012, BC Malaysia launched an annual campaign to preserve the environment which was named as "Green Planet 2012" with the chosen theme of "Reuse and Recycle".

The objective of this campaign is to educate members and its overall society in creating awareness on the environmental preservation on daily basis practice as a norm to be embedded by all.

To achieve the stated objective, we may:

1. Post posters at public areas (school, parks)/ written and digital media (blogs, facebook).
2. Encourage the public towards recycling by putting the used consumer goods (bottles/ plastic bags) into the designated recycling bin; separated based on materials.
3. Encourage you fellow family members and friends to minimize the use of plastic bags.
4. Promotes reuse of potential unused items rather than throwing it into the rubbish bin.
